Our history, structure, mission and values.
WHO WE ARE
Grimsby and Cleethorpes Area Doorstep is a registered charity (Charity registration number 702881) and a Company Ltd by Guarantee (company registration number 2494315).
Doorstep is a voluntary sector not-for-profit organisation with a general membership and is governed by a voluntary Board of Trustees who are also the Directors of the Company. The Trustees are responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Charity and ensuring it has the resources it needs and that it operates within a legal and policy framework.
The Board meets at least monthly to monitor the progress of the organisation; the day to day management of the organisation is delegated to the Senior Manager.
Our vision is of a society that values young people, encourages their talents, ignites their passions and exceeds their hopes and expectations.

How We Work
In October 2018 Doorstep was accredited as an ‘Investor in People’. This award recognises the standard of people management within our organisation to be able to achieve our objectives.
