Howard Field

Vice Chair

Howard is the Deputy Chair of the Board at Doorstep. A local solicitor, he specialises in domestic abuse and child protection cases and serves as the Senior Partner at John Barkers Solicitors.

Having spent his entire life in Grimsby and Cleethorpes, apart from his university years in the West Midlands, Howard is deeply rooted in the community. He attended Waltham Toll Bar school, and his children went to Welholme. Howard continues to reside in and cherish North East Lincolnshire.

Upon qualifying as a solicitor, Howard returned to the area with a strong desire to help and support young people. His professional work is complemented by his extensive involvement in local church youth activities. Over the years, he has also served on the governing boards of three local schools, helped establish a housing charity, and set up a child contact centre.

Joining Doorstep aligns perfectly with Howard’s commitment to supporting the community. He is proud to be part of an organisation dedicated to assisting individuals who might otherwise fall through the cracks.
